Apple Sells Over 1 Million New Macbook Airs
It's a bit of a slow news day today, I admit.
But Apple has reported sales of 1.1 million 11 and 13 inch Macbook Airs during it's first quarter to December 2010.
This makes up 40% of it's Macbook sales in total, and approx. a quarter of it's Mac sales as a whole!
That's around 60% higher than analysts expected.
And one of the most successful Mac launches ever!

Still don't get why so many people are buying MacBooks.
ReplyDeletei want to buy but its overpriced
ReplyDeleteI think people pay the extra for mac books because they want a really good looking laptop. Unfortunately there aren't really any super good looking windows/other laptops out there
ReplyDeleteApple overprice specifically to promote exclusivity. It's a marketing trick.
ReplyDeleteWorks too (for the moment).
Macs are too expensive...
ReplyDeleteI'm really surprised that so many have been sold! I wouldn't really think that they would be that popular, but I guess I am very mistaken.
ReplyDeleteI simply don't understand why people buy apple products period. Since every year they become outdated by a new model.
ReplyDeleteI am afraid I would break the macbook air.
ReplyDeleteoverpriced :(
